"As first time travelers to London we didn't really know the area but this hotel turned out to be great. The facility was wonderful and located in the center of all the sights...there was even a McDonald's close for a little extra coffee. Altho next to the train station our room was completely quiet. Also next to the underground which was also conventent. A few homeless around but to be expected in a city. But NO problems at all. Highly recommend."

"It was perfect in every way. The staff was so friendly and professional. They were quick to respond and even anticipate our needs. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. It’s obvious they care about detail and the atmosphere they’ve created for guest is lovely. We looked forward to coming back at the end of the day for drinks at the Coral Bar or the Bloomsbury Club. We would have gone there for drinks even if we weren’t staying there. I’ll never stay at any other hotel in London. "

"My 7-year old and I spent 7 nights and we loved it. The area is safe and convenient with public transportation and plenty of restaurants around. The museums are a walk away. The staff was very friendly! We didn't see any other kids during our stay but we didnt mind it. My son loved the fish goujons from the kids menu at the hotel and we ordered it for room service on some days!"

"The staff at the front desk were welcoming, friendly and always so helpful. Returning from a long day of sightseeing to have a cocktail in the lounge became a high point of the day for us. I appreciated the "green energy" steps that were taken, down to very small things."

"Location was just 10-15 minutes tube ride from central London. Room was spacious and staff were friendly and professional."

"George the, concierge was lovely and very helpful. He took care of getting a car for hire and other small items I needed with a gentlemanly air. He remembered my requests and I didn’t have to remind him I existed. Much appreciated. All the staff were very nice as well. I loved the room and the general atmosphere of the hotel. Very cozy and comfortable but a touch of old world elegance without ever being stuffy at all. "

"The staff are very friendly and helpful. Mary on reception let us check in early as the room was ready. Mary gave us a quiet room as requested. Guests are not always considerate though as they banged doors and ralked loudly in the early hours of the morning. We checked in on my birthday so a gesture of a card would have been nice."
