"There was construction and remodeling in the building, but it did not affect us very much. The staff was lovely, our room was lovely. The location is wonderful as long as you are OK to walk up a small hill. The staff is friendly, kind, and helpful. The nice thing about the hotel is that you can take the elevator to the pool level, and have easy access to the CA Coastal Trail. It's also nice to be near the Urth Caffè and the Art Museum. The place is going to be gorgeous after the renovation, but we had a wonderful time even with the construction. "

"Stayed there three nights, overall was nice, calm and quiet and good view of the ocean. However, can hear everything surrounding neighbors are doing and not many places to sit. "

"Casa Laguna exceeded all expectations. We chose the deluxe ocean view room and was lucky enough to land the corner unit and gave us the best views! The room was the perfect size for a weekend getaway and the entire staff was so nice and accommodating. Room service was such a bonus and the breakfast was delicious! Trolley stop was literally right in front of the hotel. This could not have been a more perfect stay and a splurge I would say was worth every single penny. Do not hesitate to book! "

"I love this place and I’m looking forward to returning. The room pricing was very reasonable. The room was very nice and clean, parking was very convenient, the restaurants food and staff was outstanding. The hotel entire staff was amazing. The only issue I had was I went into the golf shop and was totally ignored. I walked around the small shop and was never greeted or asked if I needed anything and another young man walked in and he was addressed immediately I was disappointed and I walked out. I will say this I’m not a person that is easily unnoticed when I go places so I felt it was done on purpose. "

"Rooms was nice, clean and comfortable. Service at the front desk was very helpful. The room was nothing too fancy but it was about a 3 minute walk to a nice beach. Cant beat that! "
