"The staff were so friendly and accommodating. I had concerns about staying in a pub because of noise only this was not the case. Location great and we were back in time for a night cap. Also thought the double (used to king size at home) was going to be uncomfortable thankfully it wasn’t. We didn’t realise shampoos etc were in the landing our fault as we collected the key earlier than check in and returned later that night. We hope to return next year if we go to the Wessex Folk Festival....

"We had a lovely holiday in Poole, The Antelope Hotel is well placed for the quay, not the best for the older generation as there was a lot of stairs and no lift, I think the hotel needs an up grade, the staff were all lovely and friendly, and you could not fault the food, lovely garden, lively area,and they do allow dogs."

"Ideally situated for a good walk between Sandbanks and Bournemouth. The food is lovely and has a good choice of gluten free meals, which was good for me, this also applied to the breakfast. The rooms could do with a bit of redecorating but perfectly adequate. Note that if you are a night owl or early riser you have to access the room by the fire exit stairs leading from the car park as the middle door to the pub and front door is locked as soon as pub closes and before breakfast. "So glad we booked this place rather than a large hotel in the area that we were considering. The room was gorgeous with a big bath tub (we chose one of the big rooms). Check in was easy, staff were v friendly and accommodating despite looking after the restaurant too (special mention to Ashmi who waited on us a couple of times in the restaurant).
