Check in was easy and and fast , everyone was friendly and helpful.

There are only eight guest rooms that included all ammenities. The eating area could have been out of a movie set. The beach equipment and attention to each guest was impeccable.

Great overall, good location, comfy beds. Bathrooms in the room are terrible if that's important to you (so narrow your knees hit the wall on the toilet and the floor is constantly wet from the shower). But to us that was an acceptable tradeoff for a great budget option close to transit and conveniently close to the action yet quiet.

When arriving from the airport the entrance to Monastic initially was not readily apparent and somewhat inconvenient to move the luggage, so initially we thought we had made a big mistake with this booking. But once the door opens things changed quickly and with the assistance of the friendly and helpful stuff were shown our room: A large "Studio Apartment", great view, nice bath, kitchenette and any modern amenities one can imagine with a welcome basket. Staff showed us the roof terrace making the view of the Acropolis even better; Nearly all sites in 15 minutes walking distance; a place for couples who want to experience Athen; No, the Monastic doesn't have a common breakfast area or a bar but there are an ample number for every taste in close proximity.

We had a great amazing stay at the hotel. It is centrally located for shopping, restaurants, monuments and parks. Customer service was truly amazing. Theodosia at the front desk was really informative, friendly, patient in showing us the hotel, information about the city, how to get around. Hotel and room were really new, high tech, thoughtfully designed. We got bumped up to room 6 with its own roof top balcony. Will come back and stay at this hotel for 1 week.
