"We absolutely loved our stay in Edinburgh and look forward to coming back. This home was the perfect place to explore everything the city has to offer. The only challenge was that we liked the place so much we didn’t want to leave."
"I liked but didn’t love the stay at this hotel . Things we liked : clean, spacious, having a washer, nice and walkable center. I didn’t like the fact that we had trouble with the hot water the first day and night and, overall, I expected more from a 5 star hotel ( daily room keeping ?! ). Probably we won’t return as we really loved the 4 star place we stayed before but they were booked when we decided to stay longer so we had to find another hotel. "
"We loved our stay here in Edinburgh! 5 min way from Edinburgh train station where we arrived from London. 5 min walk to royal mile and about 10 minutes from the castle. Many amazing food options in the area! Room was amazing and comfortable! We had a great stay!"
"It is a beautiful property particularly in the common spaces (breakfast room, library). The rooms are in need of some work: a few small changes would make the rooms cleaner, brighter and functional. Consider small touches like kleenex and water glasses to more substantial ones like a small refrigerator and a fresh coat of paint. When we first arrived, the staff seemed to be overwhelmed by our tour group (Rick Steves). We booked extra days through Expedia and this resulted in a change to a much...
"I really liked this place for the most part. The location was good for everything touristy, it was equipped with everything you need to cook, the bathroom was clean with nice water pressure, dishwasher worked well, nice view, the staff were friendly enough without being over the top. I LOVED the towel warmer and turned it on about 30 mins before I took a shower to warm up the bathroom. I also was able to wash undergarments in the sink and dry them on the towel warmer (I cleaned the sink...
"Beautiful hotel. Very clean. We arrived by train and were so happy that the hotel was just a five minute walk from the station. The royal mile with all the shops and restaurants was literally a 3 minute walk. Arthur’s Seat trail was only 15 minute walk. Shopping district a 10 minute walk. This hotel will always be my choice on future visits to Edinburgh. "

"I stayed here the last night of a two-week roundabout of Scotland. CityroomZ is centrally and conveniently located. The A100 airport bus stops in front of the hotel's entrance. The shuttle runs 24/7, and every 33 minutes throughout the day.
Staff at the reception desk were welcoming and very helpful.

"I booked this Hotel for easy access to Edinburgh for the Edinburgh marathon on Sunday 26th. The hotel was a good location, check in was easy and efficient, meal options are limited although I had a nice big Pizza the day before the race and there is a Morrisons which is a 10 minute walk and easy access to the Tram.
The hotel staff were friendly and in particular a guy called Maris who offered me some complimentary snacks for the marathon which was a nice touch. He was also very friendly and efficient. "
