The only minor issue was the lighting by the mirrors we found inadequate for getting ready for a wedding and it would have be nice to have a full length mirror. Breakfast wad great and will certainly stay again. Many thanks for making our stay most enjoyable."

"A most enjoyable, peaceful, one night stay, wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the grounds. We were in one of the oldest, original, parts of the house, but everything was tastefully up to date and very clean. All the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly."

"Lovely place. No phone signal on Vodaphone and wi-fi down so I couldn't work as planned. Lovely staff - especially the chef. No bath, which I would have liked. Otherwise no complaints."

"A cosy sea front hotel above a pub. Room 404 had superb bay window for admiring the view of the beach and sea across to The Spinaker Tower. The room is bright ,warm plenty of lights, mirrors and storage. A few things are a bit tired, curtains don't close properly, chest of drawers damaged and sink worn but comfortable bed and efficient shower over bath .Friendly staff and guest entrance when staff not on duty. Good value ."

"Great place to stay and convenient for the South Downs Way, I had a very smat bedroom with bath and shower on suite. The food was very good though a bit of a limited menu but enough for most people I would think. "

"The hotel looked lovely but unfortunately we didn't get to stay. Turned up to find hotels.com had not passed out booking into hotel so left with nowhere to stay in remote countryside. I'd recommend the eco lodge - staff were lovely but not hotels.com -it took almost a month to get a refund only by going via my bank's anti fraud process."

"Lovely little relaxing weekend. Liz is a wonderful and confident host with brilliant local knowledge, excellent breakfast skills and a sense of positivity about everything. Made our stay so much more enjoyable. The local pub is good, and The Partridge Inn (next town) is a skip across a lovely field. There are beautiful walks in every direction too. A local bus connection to Chichester allowed us to explore the local craft beer bars and get some fancy grub. It’s walking distance to the...
