During my recent stay at Hotel Dubrovnik President Valamar, I encountered numerous disappointments that fell short of the expected 5-star experience. Despite the spacious rooms, the outdated infrastructure, uncomfortable beds, and broken furniture left much to be desired. The unhelpful and sometimes rude attitude of some staff members, particularly in contrast to the friendlier housekeeping staff, tainted the overall experience.
The quality of the food was a significant letdown, forcing me to seek meals outside the hotel. Additionally, the lack of bar service in the cabana and the absence of assistance in the exclusive level V guest areas, including the beach, highlighted the service shortcomings at the hotel.
Moreover, the housekeeping staff added to the frustrations by ignoring our "do not disturb" sign and entering our room unannounced on the day of our late check-out. These disruptions to our privacy were unwelcome and detracted from the quality of our stay.
In conclusion, my time at Hotel Dubrovnik President Valamar was marred by various issues that did not align with the expected standard of a 5-star hotel. I hope that the management addresses these concerns to improve the experience for future guests.
