"Staff is impersonal, particularly at reception where they need to be super helpful. My husband come down with flu and asked at reception if they had any medicine and the answer was “ no “ and end of, not an alternative offered or even indicating the nearest pharmacy. Rooms were okay, clean but worn out and the daily room keeping rushed as I would find dirt on the floor from the day before. Food was well cooked and tasty but not much variety offered as the days went by. "

"Lots of areas for management to improve. We have been sick for almost 2 weeks! Noticed birds eating out of the bread baskets yet staff turn away. Also, smoking is out of hand at this property. People do not follow rules, smoking everywhere including in their rooms and staff do not enforce following designated smoking spaces. It was our first and last time at Riu. "

"Excellent property, service and staff was exceptional. Food was decent. They had a lot of entertainment for guests, shopping for gifts and souvenirs was available. Pools were regularly cleaned, sunloungers were cleaned at the end of the day by staff too. The only issue we had was after multiple phone calls to the spa we were not able to book an appointment because they had no availability for 2 days. "I loved the Kasbah fortified town architecture, the inner gardens, excellent accommodation and view from balcony. The bedding and pillows were so comfy... I slept extremely well. Food was fresh and abundant, coffee place aromatic. All staff worked hard and efficiently and the local musicians were present every night. An amazing stay! "

"So disappointed: 1. Not enough su beda and people reserving them for HOURS and never actually using them. Change your hotel policy so sun beda cant be reserved. Simple. 2. Food was awful. Edible but just such poor quality. Clesrly clrners have been cut to keep costs down. Such a shame. 3. No smoke alarms in rooms and all the fkre extinquishers we saw were completely rushed anf useless. Not great at all! 4. Music by the pool. Dear GOD no one needs to hear Desposito 3 tomes in a row at a thousand...
