The resort is older and basic. It is located in a good area There aren’t many food options. It’s generally the same variations of the same food everyday. Breakfast is served outside and there is no air conditioning. The majority of the staff is rude (especially the dinner staff). However, Jonathan, William and Keira made our stay much more enjoyable. They were polite and fun and made sure we had what we needed. In the evenings, for dinner, and most of the other times, you have to ask the rest of the staff for drinks or refills or anything else several times before you get it. We were there with a party of 15 for a celebration. It seemed like they would get annoyed that they had to work while we were there. We overheard one of the waiters complaining that we were asking for too many things one evening. Apparently they don’t like having to get you refills. Many time’s the cooks in the buffet would disappear for long periods of time for both breakfast and dinner or would refuse to make things such as quesadillas when they were making tacos using the same ingredients. The location is very convenient for snorkeling, swimming, and scuba diving. It is not great for large families since there is no where to sit together to hang out (with air conditioning) until the bar opens in the evening. In addition- the dinner staff share tips, when many of them do not provide good service and don’t deserve the tips. It takes away from the ones who do. We will not go back to this location.
