First time when we visited Tenuta Mazzetta we were taken by the tranquility of this place - amazing pool, beautiful gardens, very friendly and welcoming staff and this rustic farmy feel. "The room was extremely small with no window, and no room for even a single chair. However, the bathroom was very large and comfortable, and so was the bed, for that matter! There is no lift/elevator, so be aware that if your room is not on the ground floor, you must be able to carry your luggage. "

"An unhappy experience. When we arrived at our hotel we were told it was closed due to a "technical problem" and that we were booked in a different hotel. While the other hotel was very well situated, it was tired looking, no wi-fi in the rooms, and we had the worst room in the hotel, looking out on a service courtyard instead of a sea view. Heating rails in the bathroom did not work. No window or extractor fan in the bathroom either."
