"A lovely hotel, nicely situated for exploring the area. The hotel and grounds were amazing with some lovely walks in close proximity. Room was very clean, with very comfortable beds. Found all the staff that we came into contact with to be friendly and chatty. Both breakfast and evening meals were excellent. Despite being very busy the hotel was not noisy, so had a good nights sleep every night. Would thoroughly recommend staying here. Have not added any pictures as the ones on the hotel website...

"Nice clean hotel, but bedrooms very dated. Window held together with worn out cello tape. OK in the summer but I imagine cold in the winter. Shower head would not stay up and cubicle old and rusty. Plug sockets loose and TV aerial socket fell out. "

"Clean basic accommodation attached to an interesting old inn. Modern bedroom resembling Premier Inn, good value for the price paid snd in an ideal location as we were passing through Basingstoke on the way to Southampton. Breakfast was not included but offered at a supplement. Variety offered on the menu looked good but we overslept in the comfortable beds and so had to run. "
